Flat Bite Plate for Deep Bite & Bite Opening
Product Features:
Suitable for patients with deep bite, used in conjunction with fixed orthodontic treatment to open the bite. Removable base-plate type or banded fixed type are available according to clinical needs.
Note:
Other precautions are the same as removable orthodontic appliances.
During initial fitting and adjustment, trim the base plate to ensure uniform contact between multiple lower anterior teeth and the flat bite plate, avoiding contact on individual teeth.
Model requirement: If precise control of the posterior separation after bite opening is needed, the dentist should take maxillary and mandibular models, together with wax bite or silicone bite registration of the opened occlusion.
