Clinical Application:
Suitable for cases with mildly constricted maxillary arch. Available in fixed bonded type and removable type. The quad helix enables buccal movement of premolars and molars. Four helical loops (two at the first premolar area and two at the second molar area) can be activated simultaneously or individually to achieve different treatment outcomes.
Notes:
Wear as instructed by the doctor, activation is generally performed every 3 to 4 weeks.
Check for gingival tenderness during follow-up visits. 3. An arch retainer can be fabricated after expansion treatment.
