Clinical Application:
Mostly used for maxillary arch. It is a removable expander designed for unilateral arch expansion to correct asymmetric dental arch. Posterior inclined guide can be added on the opposite side to enhance anchorage.
Notes:
The split of base plate should be away from the midline and close to the expansion area.
Wear as instructed by the doctor, generally for slow expansion. 3. Brush with toothpaste morning and night, good oral hygiene must be maintained during wearing.
